A dying professor’s last lecture

UPDATE: Randy Pausch died from complications of pancreatic cancer on 25th July 2008.

Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch, who is dying from pancreatic cancer, gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving talk, “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams,” Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals. Watch this video. It really is worth your time irrespective if you are into computing or not. It goes way beyond the area of computers and anyone watching it will have something to gain from this lecture.
